CaravansPaintings and drawings. In 2005 I graduated with a couple of paintings with caravans. After thad I started working on new themes, but I'm still working on this series as well. The paintings are made in oil, sometimes combined with acrylics. The drawings are done in charcoal and soft pastels. What you see here, is just a selection of the whole series.

BalletIn 2007 I started with a new theme, 'girls who do ballet'. It is about the dreams of little girls. Sugary colours and patterns. Something completely different than the series with the caravans and the houses. What you see here, is just a selection of the whole series.

SmurfsAt the end of 2007 I painted my first smurf. Many more followed. I am still working on this series as well. These works are painted in acrylic with sometimes details in oil. What you see here, is just a selection of the whole series.

GraphicMost of all I like to make etchings in combination with an aquatint. Aquatint is a technique to get several tones of grey. Now and then I make woodcuts, but most of all I make paintings and drawings.
