Series 'Butter and milk'. Portrets of all kinds of butter and milk. From supermarkets and other stores, where hundreds of different brands are being sold.

Series 'Functional things on the wall'. Paintings where things are portretted, that are only in our homes because they have a practical function.

Series 'Caravans'. Paintings without people, just caravans. On there own, in between high hedges, or in large groups, in fields and forests.

Series 'New residential quarters'. Portrets of new residential quarters.

I make paintings and drawings with a special atmosphere. My technique is rather classic, I highly appreciate the skill, but I'm not interested in painting as realistic as genre painters. Where

genre painters aim for a lifelike reproduction of reality, I am interested in that reality itself. Especially in the part we would like to ignore.

I have a special choice of subjects; objects out of daily life, such as caravans, light switches, electric points and furniture from IKEA. My goal is to make work that attracts by its look and sticks with you because it has changed your points of view.
